Clarifier & Thickener Drives
“RockWater Equipment goals are to provide the best solutions for your clarifier/thickener requirements. With this goal in mind, we offer multiple drive unit solutions through RSG and PRE so that we are able to match the best technology for the application. RockWater preferred manufacture of drive units are RSG drive which feature unique offerings as a standard in their CM (column mounted) series drives such as:
- NEMA 4X stainless steel control panel, featuring a ABB VFD for fine turning rake arm speed.
- Load cell overload protection with a digital strain gauge display in the control panel, capable of sending a 4-20 mA single.
- Three stage coating system with the final coat being a UV protect polyurethane.
The RSG BM (bridge mounted) series drives included as standard:
- Load cell overload protection with a digital strain gauge display in the control panel, capable of sending a 4-20 mA single.
- NEMA 4X stainless steel panel containing the digital strain gauge display (a control panel with a ABB VFD can be supplied as an optional adder)
- Three stage coating system with the final coat being a UV protect polyurethane.
As mentioned RockWater also supplies drives from PRE (Precision Rotating Equipment) and we will select the best drive unit for the application. All RockWater equipment no matter which drive manufacturer selected, will come with our standard 2 year warranty, which also covers the motor. “
Column and Bridge Supported Drives
RockWater equipment preferred line of drives manufacturered by RSG will give the customer the piece of mind knowing that their equipment is operating with the best drive on the market today. Smart technology with a built in torque indication and LED display, VFD speed control, premium paint scheme, cast iron base and gear, precision bearing options, RSG-KIT connects the customer to their O&M manual and videos of ways to check and operate their drive perfectly. You need a combination drive or drives with lifting device, no problem we can design our equipment with a PRE drive.
